As a student of the experimental Black Mountain College from 1949-1950, Frank's love of color became a driving force of his extensive career in the arts. All the while, continually wandering in the realm of color and listening where words do not exist.

Artwork made by Great Apes? 98.6 is an ongoing project where Craig and Erin continue to build relationships with institutions like zoos and sanctuaries throughout the Unites States who are using Art as a form of enrichment for their Great Apes - Chimpanzee, Gorilla, Orangutan and Bonobo. These Great Apes have an amazing story to tell, and creating artwork is one way we can try to understand and appreciate their experience.
